US Department of Justice has closed the Heath Ledger investigation.   Mary-Kate Olsen was subpoenaed on April 23 by the US DEA but would not answer questions without an offer of immunity.
NYPD cops felt “humiliated” by what one source called “utter disrespect” on the part of the DEA. Once the death was ruled an accidental overdose, cops decided not to try to talk to Olsen – despite the fact she was the first person called by Ledger’s masseuse when he was found dead.

Mary-Kate wants immunity

Olsen’s lawyer Michael C Miller has twice declined requests from the Drug Enforcement Administration to speak to the actress, claiming his client had nothing to do with the drugs.

A law enforcement official said Mary-Kate Olsen, 22, will not answer questions without immunity from any prosecution which could follow.
