EU40 – a network of EU officials aged under 40 – has invited Strauss-Kahn to speak at an economic crisis conference on March 27, alongside Luxembourg Prime Minister and Eurogroup President Jean-Claude Juncker, and former European Central Bank president Jean-Claude Trichet.
“This invitation is clearly indecent,” three female EU lawmakers – Zita Gurmai and Veronique de Keyser from the socialist group, and Isabelle Durant from the greens – wrote to European Parliament President Martin Schulz.
. A New York court postponed a March 15 hearing in Manhattan on the suit filed by Nafissatou Diallo, rescheduling the hearing for March 28.
