Kathryn Kalikow charged with misdemeanor near Silver Hill

New Canaan Police issued a misdemeanor to a woman they caught with her pants down, literally and figuratively, after police discovered her self-pleasuring before curfew hit at nearby drug and sex addiction hospital Silver Hill.
Authorities said Sgt. Milligan happened to spot a female in the rear of her vehicle while on patrol in the area of Millport Avenue and East Avenue on Sunday, October 13, at 10:35 p.m. Officers stopped and discovered who they identified as Kathryn Kalikow, 27, of New York City, NY, in the rear seat of the car. She was working to put her pants back on, police said.
According to authorities, officers asked if she was in some sort of distress. They said she explained she was a resident of the nearby facility and told the officers masturbation was restricted at the center, so she would regularly find some alone time in her vehicle before curfew.
Police charged the woman with public indecency, a misdemeanor, and released her on a Promise To Appear in lieu of bond. She was issued a Norwalk court date of October 23, 2013.
The daughter of the multimillionaire and former New York Post publisher was arrested in a Bronx apartment with her boyfriend for allegedly selling heroin to an undercover policeman on Sunday. They appeared in court on Monday.
Kathryn Kalikow, a Vassar College educated 27 year old along with her 28 year old boyfriend Brian Whelan were arrested after ater attempting a drug sale, through craigslist. They described the heroin as “high quality diesel pain relief,”. Kathryn is the daughter of Peter Kalikow.
Each were charged with felony drug possession with intent to sell, and were released without bail.
“Mary and I are very concerned, and all we are concentrating on now is helping our daughter,” the mogul said in a brief statement.
Undercover police in the Bronx responded to a Craigslist post, setting up with the young pushers, arranging a meeting through text messages.
Both Kalikow and Whalen admitted to their drug addiction, prosecutors said.
“It was my idea to go on Craigslist and post the ad. I need treatment. I am a heroin addict, and to afford the drug I agreed to sell some . . . on consignment for the person I buy from,” Whalen told cops, according to court records.
Whelan’s family admitted him voluntarily to a drug rehabilitation facility on Monday evening, their attorney Marvin Ray Raskin said Tuesday.
“I have a problem,” Kalikow told cops, prosecutors said. “I need help.”
The two pleaded not guilty at their arraignments on Monday, and were released on their own recognizance. They are expected to return to court on May 14.
Peter Kalikow purchased the New York Post in 1988, and sold it in 1993, and was the chairman of New York’s Metropolitan Transportation Authority from 2001 to 2007. He is a prominent real estate investor
