Jane Fonda was born in 1937, “I love men, I’m not done with men, but I’m done with marriage and dating.” “ I can’t do the original workouts any more, because I’ll hurt myself,” she gestures to her hips, “as I have joint replacements.” How many other 80-year-old women currently have a hit comedy series on Netflix (Grace and Frankie), as well as movies coming out, a documentary on their life about to hit HBO, and no signs of stopping any time soon?

Jane Fonda will appear in a handful of scenes as Nancy Reagan the first lady of the United States in a film about Eugene Allen, the White House butler whose career started with Harry Truman in 1952 and ended in 1986 with Ronald Reagan. In a 60 Minutes interview on March 31, 2005, Fonda reiterated that she had no regrets about her trip to North Vietnam in 1972, with the exception of the anti-aircraft gun photo.

The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus has its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival (running until May 24) The planned release date for Doctor Parnassus is in the autumn. “We want to be in that last third for the Academy Awards! Maybe we’ll get another award for Heath. We’re going to get as many awards as possible for him, long after he’s gone.”
Terry Gilliam has denied that his film is struggling to secure a distribution deal for release in US cinemas.

Audrey’s grasping ambition gives the character spark, but Ms. Olsen doesn’t have the lines or guidance to elevate this harridan beyond cliché.

Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Age Of Ultron became only the fifth film to cross $900m this week and stands at $902.3m through Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures International.

Avengers: Age of Ultron ruled the box office this weekend with a huge $187.7 million, which is the second-biggest debut ever. Unfortunately, the top opening ever belongs to its predecessor, Marvel’s The Avengers ($207.4 million). The Avengers sequel also continues to do strong business overseas, where it’s earned $439 million before even debuting in China or Japan.

Elizabeth Olsen will reprise her Avengers: Age of Ultron role of Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch in Captain America: Civil War.
Olsen will film her scenes in Atlanta after May 7. It was in Captain America: The Winter Soldier’s post-credits scene that Olsen made her debut in the Marvel Universe (along with Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who plays her twin brother Pietro Maximoff/Quicksilver). Olsen and Taylor-Johnson’s characters will get more screen time in Avengers: Age of Ultron, in theaters May 1.
