“I don’t know if it came from Donald Trump or from Donald Trump and supporters,” Hankey said.

Documents as part of the $175 million bond were rejected by the court for not including a current financial statement.
On Wednesday, a message on the New York State Supreme Court’s electronic filing system showed Trump’s “Bond/Undertaking” had been “returned for correction.”

A state appeals court ruled that Donald Trump and his co-defendants in the New York civil fraud case have 10 days to post a $175 million bond, down from the $464 million judgment that was originally due Monday. The decision Monday also puts a stay on the part of the original judgment that barred Trump from serving as a public officer of a company, as well as the prohibitions placed on Weisselberg, McConney, Donald Trump Jr. And Eric Trump.

Trump’s lawyers say they’ve approached 30 companies through four brokers and none will accept his real estate holdings as a guarantee on the bond for $454 million and argue the judgment is unconstitutionally high.
[March 12 2024 Florida: “corrected” addresses for six Trump assets ]
on February 21, five days after the verdict, that Trump’s lawyers revealed what they called the “corrected” addresses for six Trump assets that were named as defendants in James’ bank asset fraud lawsuit.
“Several of the addresses for the Defendants in the proposed Judgment are incorrect,” defense lawyer Clifford S. Robert wrote in the letter to Engoron.
